DUX
This shiny little pencil sharpener is made by Theodore P Mobius at DUX, a company that opened its doors in 1908 as the first pencil sharpener manufacturer in Germany.
The pencil sharpeners are made from magnesium alloy or solid brass in the case of the luxury edition. First they drill a hole in a lump of special alloy which is also used for battle plane engine and then put an edge which is designed to last for 2000 hours of useage. This process hasn’t changed since they established the company, thanks to the German Meister.
